    English Language Proficiency Test:

    Universities advise all applicants what standard of English is required for their courses. Most course providers will ask you to demonstrate proficiency in English, or to take an approved English language test if English is not your first language.     Application Period

    The exact application deadlines vary by institution and program, as each institution follows its own admission cycle. Generally, Australian universities offer two major intakes: February / early March and late May / early June.

    The deadline for the February intake usually falls between October–November of the previous year. This intake is considered the primary intake in Australia, with a wider range of programs available for international students.

    Student Visa Requirements

    Sponsorship: Students must provide evidence of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees, travel, and living expenses. The required living cost (excluding tuition and travel) is AUD 20,290 per year.

    Alternatively, students may show proof that their parents, spouse, or sponsors are willing to support them, with a minimum annual income of AUD 60,000.

    Work Opportunities in Australia

    Work While Study

    International students are allowed to work up to 40 hours per fortnight during study sessions. During scheduled course breaks, students may work up to 38 hours per week. Students must apply for a Tax File Number (TFN) to work legally in Australia.
