    STUDY ABROAD IN GERMANY: WHEN AND HOW TO APPLY

    Academic Intakes and Deadlines to Study in Germany

    Applications for overseas education in German Universities are accepted all-round the year:

    • Winter semester / Autumn Session: Starts in September or October. Application period begins in early May and ends on 15th July.
    • Summer semester / Spring Session: Starts in March or April. Application period begins in early December and ends on 15th January.

    Eligibility Criteria for Admission in German Universities

    There are no fixed rules set by German universities. Each university has its own admission and eligibility criteria. Students are advised to check the university website before applying.

    If studying in German medium, students must appear in a recognized German Language Proficiency Test such as TestDaF or DSH.

    English Language Proficiency

    All international applicants must submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
